KCB FC have signed Michael Oduor and Curtis Wekesa.

KCB FC have added fireworks into their attacking front after acquiring the services of Michael Oduor and Curtis Wekesa.

Oduor has joined the title-chasing bankers from Kariobangi Sharks while Wekesa was a free agent after leaving Gor Mahia early last year.

The two players had been training with the Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno-coached outfit at their base in Ruaraka for weeks and impressed the former Harambee Stars coach.

The club is also said to have intensified its hunt for Vihiga United's midfielder Dennis Simiyu.

"We have signed the two players although I am not in a position to divulge more on the length of the contracts they were given," confirmed the club's assistant coach Godfrey Oduor.

Wekesa mysteriously left Gor Mahia in February last year after suffering a serious Anterior Cruciate Ligament(ACL) which kept him out of the game for almost a year after going under the knife.

Oduor on the other hand switched his allegiance to KCB after falling down the pecking order at Kariobangi Sharks thanks to the competition for playing time at his preferred position.

Meanwhile, KCB may be forced to do without their first-choice goalkeeper Gabriel Andika for a few weeks after the former AFC Leopards man opened up of shoulder discomfort.

Andika aggravated the injury during their 2-2 draw against Sofapaka last week at the Danson Mwanyumba Stadium. At the same time, the club will also be without assistant coach Godfrey Oduor who is on compassionate leave when they play Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday.
