Ndung'u says he wants to score a minimum of 25 goals this season.
Kenya Police FC forward Samuel Ndung'u says he wants to score at least 25 goals this season for the promotion-chasing National Super League outfit.
Police are second in the NSL log with 35 points same with leaders FC Talanta who have a superior goal difference and a game in hand. The two teams are front-runners for direct promotion to the FKF Premier League
Ndung'u is Police's top scorer in the league so far having found the back of the net ten times and he says the target is to reach 25 by the time the season comes to a close.
"I want to score 25 and above this season. So far I have ten to my name and I think in the remaining matches of the season I can score at least 15 but I want to surpass that target and get more," the former AFC Leopards and Mathare United man told Mozzart Sport.

There is some motivation behind Ndung’u wanting to find the back of the net more often, former Harambee Stars forward Boniface Ambani, who holds the record of most league goals season (26) has promised to reward the forward should he get at least 23 goals this season.
"Coach Ambani has challenged me to get at least 23 goals this season and I am working towards that goal. I am confident that I will achieve it with help from my teammates, and of course, we all love gifts and so I will work hard to get his award," he continued.
On life in the NSL, Ndung'u, who joined the Kenya Police outfit at the start of the season admits that the second tier is equally tough and competitive.
"NSL is not an easy league. It is a tough and very competitive league but I am loving it here. There is no easy game in the NSL you have to be at your best always to get wins,” he concluded.
