They Brewers are set to play Gusii FC and newly-promoted APS Bomet at the end of the week.

Football Kenya Federation Premier League reigning champions Tusker FC have shifted their pre-season preparations to Kericho ahead of the 2022/2023 campaign.

The Robert Matano-coached side will be based in Kericho for a week, with their training culminating in two friendly matches that the team is set to play in towards the end of the week.

"The team departs this afternoon for Kericho, where we will base a one-week high altitude training camp in anticipation of the start of the new season," the club confirmed in a statement on their socials on Monday.

On Saturday, the Brewers are set to cross over to Kisii where they will be hoping to play against FKF Division One side Gusii Fc, who were relegated from the National Super League last season after finishing second from the bottom.

They will then travel back to Kericho for the second friendly match against the newly promoted APS Bomet who will be looking at making their debut in the FKF PL once the new season kicks off.

APS Bomet have already played against three top-tier sides in pre-season, losing 2-1 against AFC Leopards and 1-0 to KCB in their tour to the capital in August, followed by another 2-1 loss to Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu earlier this month.
