The Bentiu-based club confirmed the appointment through its official social media platforms, welcoming the experienced Kenyan tactician to its technical bench ahead of the new season.
"The Pride of Bentiu welcomes our new Assistant Coach, Godfrey Oduor, all the way from Kenya.Coach Godfrey joins the technical team and will serve as Assistant Coach alongside head coach Jean Claude on a one-year contract.

Oduor's appointment marks a return to familiar territory, with the Kenyan coach heading back to South Sudan just five months after leaving the country.
He previously served as assistant coach at Jamus SC, where he spent two years helping the club establish itself among the country's top sides.
During his spell at Jamus, Oduor played a key role in the club's triumphs in the Juba Super Cup and the South Sudan National Super Cup.
The club is also home to Kenyan players Joseph Waithera and Haniff Wesonga.
His latest move comes only days after he had accepted an assistant coaching role at Bandari FC.
However, the former KCB assistant coach left the Mombasa-based club before officially beginning his duties, with the club's ongoing leadership wrangles understood to have influenced his decision.
At El Merreikh Bentiu, Oduor will link up with fellow Kenyans Erick Otieno and Ibrahim Ahmed, who recently joined the South Sudanese champions from Shabana FC and Sofapaka respectively.
The former Harambee Starlets assistant coach also brings with him a wealth of experience gained from previous coaching stints at KCB, Nairobi United and the national women's team.
Oduor will now work alongside head coach Jean Claude as El Merreikh Bentiu prepare to defend their South Sudan Premier League crown.
The duo will be expected to maintain the club's domestic dominance while mounting another strong challenge in the country's cup competitions during the upcoming season.
