After failing to earn promotion with his former club Leeds United, Clarke Oduor could be a Premier League next season with Barnsley.
Kenyan international Clarke Oduor's Barnsley is on course to promotion to the English Premier League following their 1-2 win over Luton Town with all the stars abroad emerging victorious on Monday.
Clarke Oduor
Harambee Stars wingback Clarke Oduor’s spell on the bench continued as he watched Barnsley’s 1-2 win over Luton Town from the dugout.
Daryl Dike who has been on form since joining Barnsley on loan in January from Orlando City from the Major Soccer League (MLS) put the visitors ahead in the 27th minute.
Dike doubled his tally in the game and Barnsley’s lead in the 57th minute but he squandered a chance to bag a hat-trick as he missed a penalty in the 83rd minute.
Barnsley was meant to rue their missed chance immediately as Jamie Collins pulled one back for Luton seconds later.
Oduor could be playing Premier League football next season as Barnsley are in the Promotion Play-Off places despite starting the season in poor form.

Daniel Anyembe
Kenyan defender Daniel Anyembe was handed a start by Esbjerg in the 1-3 win over Fredericia in the Promotion Round of the Danish First Division.
Esbjerg needed just 14 minutes to break the deadlock through Joni Kauko who extended his goals return to eight this season.
Leonel Montano however ensured that Fredericia went into the break level with a 25th-minute strike.
Jakob Ankersen and Kasper Pedersen each bagged goals in the second half to ensure Esbjerg got to within a point in their Promotion bid back to the Danish Super League.

Jonah Ayunga
Kenyan forward Jonah Ayunga was a 57th-minute substitute in Bristol Rovers 2-1 win over Doncaster Rovers in the English League One.
Ayunga replaced Sam Nombe as manager Joey Barton aimed to extend their lead that would assure them of three vital points.
Bristol had to come from behind as James Coppinger opened the scoring for Doncaster in the 13th minute with Luke McCormick equalizing in the 37th minute.
McCormick was on hand to complete his brace in the 57th minute to put Bristol in the lead for the first time in the game.
Briston is now within a point of safety following the win as they look to survive in the league after a poor start to the season.
