The club termed Waweru' s refereeing as catastrophic, adding that on top of denying them a penalty, Waweru made many wrong calls in the game.
Interestingly, Waweru was the man in charge as Morocco edged out Mali to win the CHAN title last year.
Their complaint comes just a day after Egypt's Al Ahly launched a similar one against Senegal's referee Maguette Ndiaye in their 2-0 win against Mamelodi Sundowns in their CAF Champions League first-leg clash.
In their complaint, Al Ahly also noted that Ndiaye had also denied them a clear penalty.

The Green Eagles came from behind to salvage an important point going into the second leg of the fixture courtesy of Ben Malango in the second half.
Orlando Pirates drew first blood through Vincent Pule in the first half but could not hold on to their lead in the second half.

Raja will host Orlando Pirates in the reverse fixture on Sunday, 23 April 2021 in Casablanca where a win or a barren draw will see them advance to the semi-finals.
