None of the handful of Kenyans in Tanzania scooped an award.
The 2022 Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) awards were held on Thursday 7 July with Kenyans who ply their trade in the neighboring country being overlooked in the awards.
Kenneth Muguna from Azam FC, Simba’s Joash Onyango, Farouk Shikalo who is in the books of Kinondoni Municipal Council FC, Biashara Mara FC coach Francis Baraza and his counterpart Patrick Odhiambo from Prisons FC failed to earn a nomination.

Yanga’s Yannick Litombo Bangala scooped the Tanzania Premier League Player of the Season as he was also awarded the Best Midfielder of the Season award.
George Mpole from Geita Gold FC laid his hands on the top scorer’s award after scoring 17 goals one more than Yanga’s Fiston Mayele.
