Anyembe and Odhiambo joined Henry Meja, Erick Ouma and Collins Sichenje in the Conference League qualifiers.
Frank Odhiambo and Daniel Anyembe sealed a place in the Third Round Qualifying of the UEFA Europa Conference League after Djurgården and Viborg emerged victorious while Alwyn Tera suffered elimination with Ararat-Armenia.
Daniel Anyembe
The Kenyan right back was trusted with another start and lasted the entire 90 minutes as his Viborg FF side bundled out Latvian outfit Suduva in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Viborg had won the first leg 1-0 which was staged away from Denmark and only needed to avoid defeat in their second leg to book a place in the Third Qualifying Round.
With the referee’s whistle still sounding around the stadium, Viborg opened the scoring through Nigerian forward Ibrahim Said who put them ahead in the first minute.
That’s how things ended as Viborg will now face Faroe Island side B36 Tórshavn in the next round.
Alwyn Tera
The former Saburtalo midfielder was handed a start by Ararat-Armenia as they suffered an exit in the UEFA Europa Conference League at the hands of Estonian side Paide on penalties.
The first leg of the encounter ended in a barren draw with nothing to separate both sides after 90 minutes of the final leg which sent the game to penalties.
Jonathan Alexander Duarte Duran missed the decisive penalty that saw Paide progress to the next round of the qualifiers.
Frank Odhiambo
The former Gor Mahia defender was an unused substitute as Djurgarden sealed a place in the Third Round Qualifying of the UEFA Europa Conference League following a 2-0 win over Croatian side Rijeka.
Djurgarden had won the opening leg of the encounter 2-1 and put themselves at a vantage point for progression after Isak Hien opened the scoring 10 minutes after the resumption of the second half.
Zambian midfielder Emmanuel Banda ensured Djurgarden progressed with an emphatic aggregate score line after netting in the 84th minute as the Swedish club will now face Sepsi in the next round.
