After hitting double digits following his hat-trick against Modern Coast Rangers on Saturday, Kisumu All Stars forward Alfred Emoni has revealed his target of topping his National Super League tally to at least twenty-five goals by the end of the season.

So crucial were his goals as Salim Babu's charges moved to third on the log with 34 points, four adrift of the second placed Kenya Police and seven within the reach of league toppers FC Talanta.
The former Gor Mahia Youth player said he was counting on the reach supply of ammunition from the midfielders to reach his individual targets and help the team reclaim its place in the top flight.
All Stars were relegated in 2019 after finishing bottom of the log just a season after promotion.
“I am hoping to get at least twenty-five goals at the end of the season. As a team we have been creating chances which I am always happy to convert them and help the team gain promotion,” he said.

Emoni who is commonly known as Koko exuded confidence that his performance in the second tier will earn him offers from top flight clubs at the end of the season.
The former student at Ortum Boys High School was on the verge of joining Nzoia Sugar last year only for All Stars to win his signature ahead of the sugar millers.
“I believe top flight teams will be scrambling for my signature when the season ends. I would have joined Nzoia last year but we did not agree on personal terms. It is my dream to play in the top league which gives players a better platform to show the national team technical bench what they are capable of doing,” he added.
