Gor will lift the title if they win today and Tusker fails to beat Posta Rangers.
Gor Mahia could seal their 20th league titleon Wednesday if they beat Kakamega Homeboyz at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani and Tusker FC fail to overcome Posta Rangers at their Ruaraka backyard.
K’Ogalo have a two-point advantage at the top of the FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) log. They have so far managed 67 points, while Tusker, in second place, have 65.
With two games left, Tusker have no room for any slip-up in the title race as they pray for a Gor error in order to have any chance of lifting their 13th title.

It has been an interesting race between the two sides in the last few weeks as they interchangeably occupied the top spot in the log. The Brewers’ defeat to Wazito FC two weeks ago appeared to dent their chances in a big way, as Gor now need just four points from the possible six to lift the title.
The league leaders have matches against Homeboyz and Nairobi City Stars left, while the Brewers will face Posta and Vihiga Bullets.
There is an interesting bit to the match between the league leaders and Homeboyz as the Kakamega-based side, who have already qualified for the Mozzart Bet Cup final, need Tusker to win the league for them to feature in the CAF Confederation Cup next year even if they lose the Cup final to the Robert Matano-coached side, and that could serve as a catalyst heading into Wednesday afternoon’s showdown at Kasarani.
Gor captain Philemon Otieno has called on the 12th man to play its part in the remaining two matches.
"We urge all Gor Mahia FC fans to come out and join us. As we head to our two final matches tomorrow (Kakamega Homeboyz FC) and Sunday's final game (Nairobi City Stars), I want to thank all our fans all around the world for their unconditional love and support. It really means a lot to the team," he told the club media.

On his part, Tusker coach Robert Matano says mental fortitude will come in handy for his boys despite the fact that the race isn’t in their hands.
"Mental strength and concentration are crucial. The players should not burden themselves with unnecessary pressure. They must stay composed, performing their duties as normal.
As champions, we must rise to the occasion, remain focused, and show determination to retain our trophy. Although it won’t be easy, our sole focus is on defending the title," he said.
Match Day.

Mathare United's 25-year stay in the FKF Premier League could come to an end this afternoon if they fail to beat Ulinzi Stars or if Wazito FC beat Bidco United. The Slum Boys trail Wazito who occupy the playoff by four points and must beat Ulinzi and hope that Bidco beat United ahead of weekend's meeting between the two sides.
