The custodian hopes to play for the national team in future
Immediate former Coastal Heroes goalkeeper Moses Tatio Lemurao has issued a come-and-get me plea to National Super League and FKF Premier League clubs’ days after the termination of his contract at Heroes
The youthful custodian was on the cusp of joining Bandari FC youth ranks last season, only for the Hussein Mohamed-coached Heroes to hijack the deal.
The Kenya Coast National Polytechnic alumnus played an integral part for Heroes last season.
His performance is understood to have attracted foreign suitors after an international agency got wind of his raw talent.
However, it turned out to be a farce crushing the dream of the youngster who haboured dreams of turning professional at the end of the campaign.
"I put in a lot of efforts in the concluded the season. I had teamed up with the foreign agency in the course of the season but those guys were not reachable at the end of the term., It left me almost in tears," narrated Lemurao.
Despite the setback, Lemurao dusted off and began the search for a new home with Rainbow being the most appealing.
He impressed in the trials but his age, unfortunately worked against him and couldn’t land a contract with the Super League debutants.
The player, took to his social media accounts to announce his retirement after failing to secure a deal at Rainbow and missing on the chance to turn professional as well.
"After the two setbacks I felt like I should just leave football, but again how can you leave something you are used to? It is hurting every day when I see the transfer window is almost shutting and I have not found a team," he opened up.
The goalkeeper has however rescinded his decision to hang his gloves and consequently, he is back in the job market and available for potential suitors who can help turn around his career and achieve of wearing the Harambee Stars shirt.
"I am ready to play for any club. I will certainly grab the chance if it comes. My dream is to wear a the Harambee Stars shirt," he concluded.
