Two own goals in the second half settle the win for the Citizens (3-0)
Manchester City defeated Brighton 3-0 in the rearranged EPL game played on Wednesday night at the Etihad Stadium. Although it seems like a landslide victory, the reigning champions were frustrated for the vast part of the game for not being able to open the scoring, which caused a lot of nervousness among the Citizens.

Graham Potter's Seagulls fought bravely and weren't impressed with Pep Guardiola's slot fighting for the vital points in the EPL title chase.
A stalemate at the half-time, however, didn't last for too long, as Riyad Mahrez managed to get a hold of a bol in the opposite box, following De Bruyne's unsuccessful attempt to connect his forward's with the ball. The ball from Mahrez's shot deflected after Veltman's tackle and ended in the back of the net.
It was quite a relief for City, who doubled the lead again thanks to the own goal. This time it was Foden who fired from a mid-range, and Mwepu accidentally changed the ball's trajectory to fool his own keeper and kill the game, 2-0.
Finally, the hosts reached an undeservedly high win through Bernardo Silva, whose perfect strike from the edge of the box ten minute before the end sealed the deal.
