Inter win 3-0 away to put an end to their awful winless streak

Romelu Lukaku bagged a brace at Empoli to push his side to the first Serie A win since early March, ending his 8-month-long goals drought from an open play. Moreover, those two Big Rom's goals in the 3-0 Inter win over Empoli are his only fourth and fifth of the entire season in the Italian top flight.

The Belgian striker scored both in the second half, with two fine low finishes, while Lautaro Martinez added the third for a landslide victory.

This win move Neroazzurri above AC Milan into fifth, two points from the last Champions League place currently held by Roma.

Inter will host Juve in the second leg of their Italian Cup semi-final on Wednesday, a match which Lukaku will be allowed to play after his suspension for being sent off in the first leg was revoked.

On Saturday, the FIGC removed the ban as Lukaku had been dismissed following goal celebrations in front of Juve fans who had racially abused him while he took the late penalty, which levelled the tie at 1-1.
