The Belgium striker is eager to join Antonio Conte's new side at all costs. Is that too risky?
At this point, it seems like a neverending story. What's the next destination for Romelu Lukaku remains a mystery although it's quite clear what this man wants - Napoli and nothing else.
The latest reports suggest that Aston Villa even agreed on a fee with Chelsea for the robust striker, but the Belgium international apparently only wants to reunite with Antonio Conte at Napoli.
He now has his heart set on working with his former Inter coach, but the problem is that the Partenopei will not pay the €35m asking price.
According to Radio CRC and Il Mattino newspaper, Chelsea agreed on a fee with Aston Villa to sell the centre forward, but he put a stop to it without even discussing personal terms!?
Obviously, Lukaku has no intention of accepting any proposal other than Napoli, and the Italians are probably waiting for Chelsea to lower their demands.
