Famous football player has now turned to God completely
In his best days, he was running, dribbling, tackling, crossing and scoring for Barcelona, Juventus, PSG, Brazil. But now he swapped the football ball with a microphone and he is now preaching and singing various religious songs as passionately as he was playing. Dani Alves is a new-born man. His football career was astonishing, with no less than three World Cups, three Champions Leagues, nine domestic titles and various other trophies which combined have reached the number 43. But he got into trouble in December 2022, when he went out to a night club after which he was charged with rape. Alves spent 14 months in prison before being bailed for one million euros (Neymar paid for it). He retired from football 2023, and the next year he was sentenced to four and half years in prison. In 2025, the sentence was overturned after an appeal as judges unanimously found "a series of shortcomings, imprecisions, inconsistencies, and contradictions regarding the facts, the legal assessment, and its consequences."

On his Instagram account, Dani Alves updated his bio with the inscription "disciple of Jesus Christ". He began preaching the God‘s word and found himself in Girona‘s church, giving a motivational speech.
"In the midst of turbulence, in the midst of the storm, there is always a messenger of God. And that messenger, at the worst moment of my life, picked me up, took me to church for the journey, and today, I am on the journey thanks to him.You have to take the things of God seriously and you have to have faith. I am proof of that. I made a pact with God“ explained Dani Alves to the believers gathered in Elim Girona Church.
