Christian Eriksen has apparently held secret talks with Galatasaray over a potential transfer away from Manchester United, with the Turkish transfer window open until 9 February.

According to Fotomac, the Istanbul-based club is interested in a potential loan deal for the 31-year-old playmaker that would include an option to make the switch permanent after the end of the season.
Eriksen's current contract at Old Trafford runs until June 2025, but the former Tottenham and Inter Milan star hinted back in October that he wasn't thrilled with his standing in the squad after being dropped by Erik ten Hag.
The Denmark international has started just three matches in the Premier League since mid-November, though, due to a combination of injuries and the emergence of midfield prodigy Kobbie Mainoo.
