Mwalala believes they are better than they were at the start of the season but admits the match against Kimanzi's side will not be an easy one.

Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Bernard Mwalala says he anticipates a tough match against Wazito FC when the two teams face off on Sunday in an FKF Premier League match on Sunday afternoon at the Utalii Grounds.

After a three-week break, the two teams will be back in action on Sunday afternoon with three points at stake for the two outfits.

Homeboyz have been training and playing friendly games and Mwalala says they're ready for the Sunday duel and is confident that they Will get a positive result in the game.

"We are ready for the game on Sunday. We have been preparing well in training during the break and I am confident that we are better than we were when three weeks ago. It is now a matter of going to put the knowledge we have gained in training into practice," he stated.

Ahead of the game, Mwalala says he anticipates a tough game against the Francis Kimanzi led outfit. Wazito drew 1-1 with Talanta in their first game of the season while Homeboyz won 1-0 against Kenya Police.

"We do not expect an easy game because we are playing a team that's currently very stable, have one of the best technical benches in the league and you expect some good opposition and a good game from them. The fact that they didn't win their first game of the season makes this game even harder," he continued.

After the Police game, Mwalala lamented of lack of cutting edge in his attack and has been working on it during the break.

"We have been working on our attack, especially positional awareness because this is a problem we picked during our match against Kenya Police and I believe that if we create chances as we did against Police, my players will do better," he added.
