FKF Premier League side Nairobi United have confirmed the appointment of former Kenyan international Osborne Monday as their new assistant coach.
In a statement released on Wednesday afternoon, the club announced that Monday had joined the Naibois as part of an ongoing restructuring process aimed at bolstering the technical department following an impressive debut campaign in the top flight.

Monday's appointment comes weeks after the departure of Geoffrey 'Solo' Oduor, earlier this month, and follows the arrival of Belgian tactician Patrick Aussems, who is expected to be officially unveiled as the club's new head coach in the coming days.
The latest move underscores Nairobi United's ambition to build a competitive squad capable of challenging for major honours next season.
"We are delighted to announce the appointment of Osborne Monday as our new assistant coach," the club said in a statement.
"The former Kenyan international joins the Naibois as part of a revamped technical bench that continues to take shape following our successful debut season in the FKF Premier League.
His arrival is another significant step in our commitment to building a team capable of competing at the highest level."
Nairobi United further praised Monday's coaching credentials, describing him as a tactically astute coach with a deep understanding of the game and a proven track record of developing competitive teams.
"Renowned for his tactical intelligence and deep understanding of the game, Osborne brings a wealth of experience to the club.
The former Murang'a Seal FC and Shabana FC head coach earned widespread recognition for implementing an attractive brand of football and developing competitive teams," added the statement.
The club also revealed that further changes are expected within both the technical department and playing squad as preparations for the new season intensify.
"He joins a technical bench that is undergoing strategic changes as we prepare for the upcoming season. We remain active in the transfer market, with further additions expected as we continue to reinforce both the technical department and playing squad."
Monday arrives at Nairobi United following successful coaching stints at Murang'a Seal and Shabana FC, where he earned widespread praise for building disciplined, competitive sides while promoting an entertaining style of play.
His appointment highlights Nairobi United's growing ambitions after an impressive fourth-place finish in their maiden FKF Premier League campaign.
The club has made no secret of its desire to challenge for silverware and establish itself among the country's football powerhouses.
