PSG's full-back Nuno Mendes was on target again, but Mbappe Jr. made sure Lille grab a deserved draw in a Ligue 1 derby (1-1)
Mbappe stun PSG! What a headline that could be, and - let's face it - for every one of us, the first and only man on our mind would be Kylian Mbappe.
Alas, it was not about him this time- his younger brother Ethan scored a sublime goal for a much-deserved 1-1 draw! Although raised in Paris Saint-Germain's youth academy, the 18-year-old left-footed midfielder decided to move to OSC Lille last year, and tonight, he prevented Les Parisiens from winning the Ligue 1 derby.
Moreover, he did it in front of Kylian himself and their dad, as Mbappes watched Ethan from the stands.

While the Real Madrid forward is right-footed and one of the fastest footballers on the planet, Ethan is a bit different. Left-footed, like we already mentioned, the teenager is a technical player praised for his mentality, football intelligence, calmness on the ball, and passing ability. He presented himself to the world like that tonight, especially six minutes before the stoppage time, making an incredibly smooth dribbling before firing it low to level the score and earn his side a point.

Lille were also lucky enough that Luis Enrique's men were below their usual standards, probably a bit tired, too, following an incredible Champions League win at Barcelona a few days ago.
Still, dashing Nuno Mendes was on target again to put his lot in front, but it wasn't enough for three points. Without injured Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue, the visitors lacked the necessary attacking power, with Bradley Barcola missing their most promising goal-scoring opportunity. Still, this draw was enough for the Saints to return to the top of the Ligue 1, as they are a point above Olympique Marseille, Strasbourg and Olympique Lyon.
