After Jamal Musiala's injury, Bayern Munich started looking for a proper replacement for the winger. This seems like a proper solution

Bayern Munich are in negotiations over a move for Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, The Athletic reports on Friday.

The Bundesliga champions are interested in a 27-year-old French international, who prefers a permanent transfer rather than a loan.

After Jamal Musiala suffered a serious injury during the recent Club World Cup, the Bavarians have shown their interest in Nkunku.

He's been unhappy at Chelsea for quite some time, and there were some enquiries from clubs in Germany, England, and Italy despite the fact that his contract runs until 2029.

He made 43 appearances across all competitions last season and scored 14 goals, but started just nine in the Premier League.

Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 after the Blues paid more than €60 milion.
