Save the best for last, they say.
We're curious if Argentina and The Netherlands are the best national teams in the world. Still, their respective bosses, Lionel Scaloni and Louis van Gaal have just announced their 26-man World Cup squads a bit later than all the others.

When it comes to The Albiceleste, there's no doubt they'll shoot for the stars and hope for the WC trophy led by seven-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi.
On the other hand, there had been doubts over Paulo Dybala, Angel Di Maria and Exequiel Palacios because of fitness concerns, but the trio have made the cut, while Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is out injured.
The more World Cup squad lists I look at, the better Argentina look. Just a really tough, versatile and well-balanced bunch of players. Plenty of quality in depth and excellent chemistry.

Manchester United centre-back Lisandro Martinez is included, unlike Atletico Madrid's Angel Correa and Napoli forward Giovanni Simeone.
There were no surprises with the Dutch squad, too, as Van Gaal turned to those established and widely respected likes of Frenkie de Jong, Virgil van Dijk, Memphis Depay, Denzel Dumfries, Tyrel Malacia...

Frenkie de Jong remains one of the best around on his day, regardless of his struggles at Barcelona, which seemingly have little to do with his ability and all the more with the club's financial situation. Finally, Memphis Depay will likely be partnered by Steven Bergwijn up top, who has revived his career at Ajax after an underwhelming spell at Tottenham.
