No Oktoberfest hangover in Munich: Kane's century of goals marks Bayern's win against Werder

The Englishman became the fastest man to reach 100 goals for a club from the European top five leagues since 1992!
The question of the season in the German Bundesliga so far is: Who will stop Bayern Munich? Five different teams have tried, and none of them were even close. Tonight, the Bavarians' fifth victim was Werder, which was brushed aside 4-0.
Vincent Kompany's men sealed the deal even before the break thanks to Jonathan Tah's opener midway through the first half and Harry Kane's spot-kick goal (his ninth league goal of the season) in the 45th minute.
The rest of the game was "a walk in the park" for the Munich side, but not for Kane, who made history, becoming the fastest player since 1992 to reach a century of goals for a club from the top five European leagues, as it took him only 104 matches to net 100 times!
Konrad Laimer put a cherry on top of Bayern's victory, scoring his maiden season goal two minutes before the end.

Two goals against Werder Bremen this evening secured the record for the Bayern Munich striker.

During the opening five minutes, Harry Kane wasted two excellent chances. Three minutes into the game, the Englishman surprised the entire Allianz Arena with a rather poor finish, while two minutes later, in an even better chance, Arsenal loanee at Werder, the custodian Karl Hein stopped Kane's effort one-on-one.
The Bremen side's boss, Horst Steffen, opted for a lineup without a genuine striker, and his players barely crossed to Bayern's half, so it was practically a matter of time before the Bavarians scored, and the inevitable happened in the 22nd minute.
Michael Olise crossed the ball into Werder's box, finding Jonathan Tah, who managed to shoot with a heel touch as if he was a renowned striker, and (with a slight help of Luis Diaz off whom the ball somewhat ricocheted) break the deadlock!
Four minutes later, Hein came out as a winner from another duel against Kane, but couldn't do anything in the last minute of the first period. Werder's captain, Marco Friedl, fouled Kane in the box, and the net-buster took no prisoners from the spot, as third luck was the charm for him shortly before the break.

The visitors had their maiden opportunity only after 58 minutes, when Manuel Neuer stopped the defender Yukinari Sugawara's powerful strike. Seven minutes later, a historic moment happened at Allianz Arena, as Kane made it 3-0, scoring his 100th goal in Bayern's jersey in his 104th appearance!
Following that moment, the pace of the match dropped. Until the end, the Bavarians' defender Konrad Laimer made it 4-0 in the 88th minute, while the ex-Leverkusen man and Werder forward, Victor Boniface found the net, but his goal did not stand for offside.
In the next Bundesliga round, Bayern will try to keep the perfect score against Eintracht Frankfurt on the road and in the meantime, they'll face Pafos in the Champions League in Cyprus. Werder's next league challenge will be St. Pauli at home.
