Jonah Kusi-Asare joins the Bavarians from the Swedish side AIK

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have agreed on a deal with the Swedish teenage sensation of Ghanaian origins, Jonah Kusi-Asare, from the Swedish first-division side AIK.

The 16-year-old arrives in Germany in a deal apparently worth 6.5 million and will wear the shirt No 9.

Kusi-Asare has risen through the youth ranks very fast, appearing on the radar of many scouts since last year. He showed his true potential when he stepped on the pitch for Swedish U-17 in September 2023 and scored a magnificent hat-trick that grabbed the eyeballs of many top European clubs. One such was Bayern Munich, who were in constant contact with the agents of the talented forward.

The development at a legendary club like Bayern Munich under former UEFA Champions League winner Thomas Tuchel will undoubtedly benefit the 16-year-old as he will be joining an elite company of attacking prowess consisting of Harry Kane, Leroy Sane, and Jamal Musiala.
