It looks like the Spaniard has decided to accept the 4,000,000 euros per year deal with Rossoneri opposed to 50,000,000 per year that Saudi side Al Tavon were offering

AC Milan are very close to hiring a new striker, Gianluca di Marzio reported last night and is stated by numerous Italian media. Alvaro Morata (30) has an inflexible attitude towards the possibility of going to Saudi Arabia, he definitely rejected such a possibility and is now negotiating only with the Rossoneri leaders.

A reminder - Saudi Al Tavon were very generous when making an offer to the Spanish striker during the previous weeks. Allegedly, he was offered as much as 50,000,000 euros per year, but he resisted the challenge and still decided to say - NO!

The primary reasons are family related. Morata has four small children, and the town where Al Tavon come from is not exactly an idyllic place to live and is located in the province. Also, the goal scorer of Atlético believes that he has at least three or four more years of opportunities to play at the top level in Europe. AC Milan's invitation fits in perfectly with his plans.

It is already known that Alvaro Morata has a very acceptable exit clause (about 10,000,000 euros) in his contract with the Mattress Makers, which AC Milan can pay. What is new are the terms that the Milanese club is offering. Di Marzio reveals that it is a figure slightly lower than the one offered to Marcus Thuram. It is 4,000,000 euros per season, or 16,000,000 for four years.

It is a net sum, so Morata, if he accepts, would certainly be one of the highest-paid players in the San Siro club.
