There has not yet been any indication from Sancho on whether he would be open to the move
AS Roma have made a €23.2m offer to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho on a permanent deal.
As per The Athletic, there is an acknowledgement that it would be a tricky deal to complete. The talks between the two clubs are at an early stage, and Sancho himself hasn't yet indicated whether he would be open to the move.
The Red Devils are, of course, more than interested in selling Sancho for good after Chelsea didn't opt for a permanent transfer following his season-long loan at Stamford Bridge.
On the other hand, Roma are also negotiating to sign Aston Villa's Leon Bailey on loan as they look to add more firepower to their attack.
Sancho was one of five United first-team players left out of their pre-season tour squad, alongside Marcus Rashford, Tyrell Malacia, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony. He has played 83 games for United, with his last appearance for the club in the 2024 Community Shield against rivals Manchester City.
