The standout fixture of the day will take centre stage at Ruaraka Grounds, where former FKF Premier League side FC Talanta host high-flying Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA), in a clash that pits ambition against form.

Talanta head into the encounter seeking an immediate response after a 2-1 defeat to Mombasa United last weekend, a setback that halted their recent surge up the table.

Currently sixth on 18 points, the Communications Authority Of Kenya–backed side will be keen to avoid slipping further and instead climb to 21 points, which would cut the gap to the league leaders to eight.

However, the task ahead is anything but straightforward.

They face a resurgent MOFA side brimming with confidence after a commanding 3-1 victory over leaders Migori Youth last weekend.

The Homa Bay–based outfit, coached by Charles Bruno, sits second on 22 points, and will be eager to maintain pressure on Migori Youth.

Any slip-up could prove costly, potentially widening the gap at the summit to seven points.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Bruno acknowledged the challenge Talanta present.

"The match will be tight since we are meeting for the first time, and they are a solid side, given their experience. Our approach will definitely be different from the derby. Consistency is key if we are to stay in touch with our season targets,” he said.

Saturday’s fixture marks the first-ever meeting between the two sides.

With promotion ambitions firmly in sight and only four points separating them, the clash promises a high-octane contest with maximum points the clear target.

At Embu Stadium, 3K FC return home determined to bounce back from a stunning 2-1 defeat to debutants Equity FC last weekend.

The Mozzart Bet–backed side squandered a golden opportunity to close the gap on leaders Migori Youth to five points.

Instead, the loss left them trailing on 21 points, with momentum momentarily stalled.

Head coach Francis Chege will be keen to ensure his side does not drift further from the leading pack.

Victory could propel 3K to 24 points and into second place, depending on other results.

3K have been formidable at home this season, where they have harvested the bulk of their victories, and will be eager to stamp their authority once more.

Standing in their way are Vihiga United, who arrive buoyed by a morale-boosting 1-0 win over Darajani Gogo last weekend.

Coach Milton Kidiga will be aiming to build consistency and secure back-to-back wins, an achievement that has eluded his side since the campaign began in September.

With maximum points on offer, victory would take 3K firmly into the promotion chase, while Vihiga would rise to 15 points and climb further up the table to 13th.

Notably, 3K are winless in their last two meetings against Vihiga, having drawn the first encounter and lost 2-1 in the return leg last season.

Chege’s charges will therefore be keen to register their first victory in the fixture, while Vihiga aim to extend their dominance.

At Gusii Stadium, newcomers Gucha Stars will face struggling Kibera Black Stars in another enticing encounter.

The Kisii-based outfit enters the match on a two-game winless run, having drawn against Nzoia Sugar and lost to MOFA.

Coach Sammy Okoth’s side will be eager to arrest the slump and regain winning momentum.

Sitting 13th on 14 points, with two games in hand, Gucha know that victory would lift them to 17 points, and bring them closer to the promotion-chasing pack.

Kibera Black Stars, meanwhile, arrive encouraged by a timely win over Mwatate United last weekend.

Head coach Iddi Badi will be keen to ensure that result serves as a turning point after a sharp decline in form over the preceding five weeks.

Saturday’s fixture will mark the first-ever meeting between the two sides.

With contrasting objectives but equal hunger for maximum points, the stage is set for a tightly contested affair.

The final fixture will take place at Vapour Grounds in Ngong, where promotion-chasing Darajani Gogo host Luanda Villa in what promises to be a captivating contest.

Gogo are seeking to change the tide after a surprising 1-0 loss to Vihiga United, just a week after claiming a spirited victory over fellow promotion contenders Naivas FC.

The defeat marked their third of the season, and underlined their ongoing struggle for consistency.

Currently ninth on 17 points, with a game in hand, coach Andrew Ongwae will be targeting maximum points to reach 20 points and potentially close the gap to leaders Migori Youth to nine.

Luanda Villa, however, arrive in fine form, having gone three matches unbeaten.

They secured back-to-back wins over Mwatate United and Naivas FC, before settling for a goalless draw against Gucha Stars last weekend.

Veteran tactician Leonard Swaleh will be pushing for a fourth win of the campaign to extend their resurgence.

Sitting 14th on 14 points, Luanda know victory would lift them into the top half of the table for the first time this season.

Gogo head into the clash as slight favourites, having won two of the last four meetings, with Luanda claiming one win and one draw.

With contrasting ambitions, Gogo chasing the summit and Luanda eyeing a top-half breakthrough, the encounter is poised to deliver yet another National Super League thriller.
