Coastal Heroes have a date with Mwatate United at the Mbaraki Sports Club.
Kibera Black Stars are hoping to whip former top-flight side Vihiga United and breath life back to their promotion hopes.
The match is set to be played at the Ligi Ndogo grounds, starting 3:00 pm EAT.
Kibera, kicked off the season well but have recently struggled to register positive results in a consistent manner.
The team is currently placed fifth with 30 points, nine off log leaders Shabana and five behind the second-placed Murang’a Seal.
Victory over the 15th ranked Vihiga will see the slum boys draw closer to the automatic promotion slots.
Similarly, Gusii will be seeking to inch closer to the top two bracket when they face SS Assad at the Gusii Stadium.
Gusii, have defied the odds to sit third with 31 points and will take on the coastal side hoping to bag their tenth win in the campaign and, move to a point within the reach of Seal.
Four more second tier matches are lined up in the day.
Coastal Heroes have a date with Mwatate United at the Mbaraki Sports Club.
The game will be the first for Mwatate since losing their defender Erick Oindo who passed on last week. The player was laid to rest last weekend.
Migori Youth are set to play the struggling Silibwet Leons at the Migori Stadium while Darajani Gogo are slated to host Kajiado FC at the Camp Toyoyo grounds.
Former top-flight side Kisumu All Stars will face MCF at Machakos Stadium.
