Coach Rodgers Okoth's charges will hope to secure promotion to the next tier when the new campaign kicks off later in the month
Nyabera Football Club has been handed a major boost ahead of the Kisumu West Sub-County League after the club received new uniforms and footballs.
The team was presented with the sporting material by the leading gaming firm Mozzart Bet, who visited the club in Chulaimbo as part of their efforts to support grassroots football.

Under their initiative, New Jerseys for New Champions, Mozzart Bet delivered 23 full sets of uniforms and two footballs to Nyabera FC, a club that has been active since 2009.
Team manager Javan Amolo described the visit and donation by the gaming giant as timely, noting that the club had been considering raising funds to purchase third kits.
Amolo revealed that the team already had two sets of uniforms for home and away matches but lacked a third option, which is important whenever colour clashes occur.
“We were considering digging into our own pockets to buy new kits ahead of the new season. However, thanks to the visit from Mozzart Bet, we will be able to save money. This will also motivate the players to give their best in the new term,” said Amolo.
He went on to thank Mozzart Bet for supporting clubs at the grassroots level.
He noted that such clubs often struggle to identify and nurture talent, as well as meet their obligations, due to a lack of shirt sponsors, adding that the donation will take a significant burden off their shoulders.
“Running a club at our level is very expensive since we do not have a sponsor. Buying equipment, organizing matches, developing players, and covering day-to-day operations all cost a lot. Donations like this keep our clubs moving,” he added.
His sentiments were echoed by skipper James Kennedy Ger, who spoke on behalf of the players.
