The win lifts the Millers from the bottom of the table up to 14th

Emmanuel Osoro came off the bench to score a stoppage-time winner for Nzoia Sugar FC in a league match against Kariobangi Sharks played at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.

Heading into the game, the Millers were winless in their last nine games and were rock bottom in the log. Sharks, on the other hand, buoyed by last weekend’s stoppage-time win over Kakamega Homeboyz, were keen on getting maximum points at a ground where they have enjoyed some good success since they got promoted to the top tier.

The match was largely a balanced affair from the start until stoppage time. Emmanuel Osoro rounded Bernard Jairo in a Sharks goal before slotting into an empty net to send the stadium into a delirium.

The win lifts the Millers from the bottom of the table up to 14th with nine points after ten rounds of league matches. Next, they visit Shabana FC at the Homabay Stadium. Sharks host Bandari up next.

At the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, Bogey FC Talanta got another famous win, this time flooring Sofapaka 3-0 in what was initially a balanced affair before Ken Kenyatta’s men took full charge of the clash.

Augustine Kuta opened the scoring in the 56th minute before seasoned winger Danson Kago added a second in the 83rd minute. Kevintom Machika, who had tormented Sofapaka defenders for the better part of the game, then completed the torture with a 90th-minute goal.

Next for Sofapaka is an away game against Kakamega Homeboyz. Talanta, on the other hand, will take on Muhoroni Youth FC.
