Clash is slated for a 3 PM kick-off at the Police Band Grounds in South B with four teams fighting for a place in the final pencilled for Sunday 12 December.

The four teams that have made it to the semis that is set to be played across Saturday and Sunday include Team PING, MUFYA FC, Rongai United and South B United Sports Academy (SUSA).

En route to the semis, MUFYA dislodge South C United 1-0 while PING also recorded the same scoreline against Cheza Sports in closely fought quarterfinal encounters.

Team Ping head coach Alex Kibena revealed that his side is prepared for the semi-final and have enjoyed the tournament thus far.

“We are ready for the semi-final we have prepared ourselves mentally and physically, any challenge that will be thrown to us we will deal with it,”

“The team has a good journey to the semi-final, we have felt welcomed even though we are not from South B. MUFYA are a good side who dominate possession,” said Kibena.

MUFYA FC head coach Charles Mbula heaped praise on Ping and was also impressed by the organisation of the tournament.

“The boys are prepared we know it will not be an easy match because Team Ping have been strong throughout the tournament, we cannot really underrate any team that has made it to the semis,”

“The tournament has been organised well, the preparations have been top-notch and there is a lot of fairness, unlike other Grassroot tournaments,” Mbula.
