OL remain the only team in the top European leagues not to have led a match thus far this season

Harambee Stars defender Joseph Okumu played the full 90 minutes in the Reims splendid 2-0 home win against Olympique Lyon.

In the opening match of the Ligue 1 Sunday menu, Okumu demonstrated high class and composure, making six successful clearances, along with four interceptions and the same number of tackles.

Moreover, the Kenyan centre-back won almost all of his nine duels against the rival's attackers.

Therefore, the local press rewarded him with the Man of the Match honours.

Lyon travelled to Reims as they searched for their first Ligue 1 win of the season.

Alas, not only did they fail, but following Luton's victory against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday, Lyon remains the only team in Europe's top 5 leagues not to have led a match thus far this season.

Fabio Grosso's side struggled to create any clear-cut chances in the first half, while Zimbabwean star Marshall Munetsi gave Reims the lead in stoppage time.

The Champagne club doubled their lead in the 71st minute through Moroccan defender Yunis Abdelhamid.

Two defeats in a row for Grosso and Lyon now sit at the foot of the Ligue 1 table for another week.
