Kenyans suffered a tough Friday evening as none got a victory.
KAA Gent, home to Kenyan international Joseph Okumu was thumped 6-2 by Westerlo while his compatriot Amos Nondi settled for a 1-1 draw with his Dila Gori side against Gagra.
Joseph Okumu
The lanky center-back was handed a start in their second pre-season clash as Gent were whitewashed 6-2 by fellow Belgian side Westerlo.
Gent fielded a young side in a match that had one-half last for 60 minutes as Rubin Seigers opened the scoring for Westerlo in the 37th minute.
Westerlo went into the halftime break with a healthy 2-0 lead after South African forward Lyle Foster doubled their advantage in the 56th minute.
Gent changed the whole team in the second half but could not stop the rot as Kyan Vaesen scored for Westerlo in the 73rd minute with Okumu’s side finally getting their first goal through Malick Fofana six minutes later.

Twee elftallen met veel jonkies krijgen een pakje slaag van Westerlo. Niet waarvoor we gekomen waren, maar daarvoor dient een voorbereiding.

Vaesen was again at it as he grabbed the fourth goal for Westerlo in the 98th minute as Gent halved the deficit through John Arthur in the 106th minute.
Westerlo had a late flurry of goals as Vaesen sealed his hat-trick in the 107th minute as Jan Bernat rounded up the scoring seven minutes later.
Amos Nondi
Dila Gori passed up a chance to move second following their 1-1 draw against Gagra who are battling relegation in the Georgian National League.
Nondi was handed a start at center-back where he has featured regularly this season, adding on to his versatility as he is a natural defensive midfielder but has featured at right-back for Harambee Stars.
Mate Vatsadze opened the scoring for Gagra just three minutes into the second half while Vagner Goncalves rescued a point for Dila with two minutes left on the clock.
Wilson Waweru
Kenyan midfielder Wilson Waweru lasted 87 minutes for Galway United as they settled for a barren draw against Treaty United in the Irish Division One.
The result left Galway second on the log but a win would have taken them to the summit of the log as they now trail Cork City by a point.
