Red Devils' fans, who will you support in this clash?

Manchester United appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as caretaker manager on 19 December 2018, taking over from Jose Mourinho for the rest of the 2018-19 season.

Fast-forward to 2025, and those two ex-Man Utd bosses will face off in Istanbul next weekend. Ole has agreed on a deal with Besiktas on Friday, while Mou is in charge of their archrival Fenerbahce, and those two powerhouses are about to lock horns in the domestic championship.

Besiktas has officially announced Solskjaer's appointment as their new head coach, with a contract running until 2026. They hope he'll be able to kickstart a much better period for the sixth-placed team in the Tukish Super Lig.

The club shared their excitement in an official statement:

"We are proud to announce Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the new head coach of Besiktas JK. We trust his leadership and capabilities to guide the team toward both national and international success."

Solskjaer, who until recently served as a UEFA match analyst, said he's delighted to join the Turkish giants.

"It's an honor to join a historic club like Besiktas. I am committed to working tirelessly and building a competitive team that reflects the greatness of this institution."
