Besiktas sent the Cameroonian defensive midfielder, 24, on loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent
Jean Onana is set to make his Olympique de Marseille Ligue 1 debut on Friday night as OM face Strasbourg.
Marseille are heavily depleted due to the Africa Cup of Nations, which is about to get underway in the Ivory Coast. Pape Gueye, Chancel Mbemba, Amine Harit, Azzedine Ounahi, Ismaila Sarr and Iliman Ndiaye are all absent, whilst Francois Mughe, who refused his Cameroon call-up, must wait for the federation's approval before being permitted to compete at club level.

On the other hand, Onana is likely to be thrown straight into action against Strasbourg.
A month ago, it was officially announced that Onana has been excluded from the Besiktas squad along with Vincent Aboubakar, Valentin Rosier, Rachid Ghezzal and Eric Bailly due to "poor performance and incompatibility within the team".
On 8 January, Besiktas sent Onana on loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent.
