Barcelona beat Getafe 1-0 at home on Wednesday to continue their perfect title quest so far

First of many games without heavily-injured Mark-Andre ter Stegen didn't finish bitterly for Barca. On the contrary, the Blaugrana kept a clean sheet (Inaki Pena was between the sticks) and Robert Lewandowski pushed La Liga leaders to their seventh straight victory, 1-0.

The impeccable Polish striker netted inside the opening 20 minutes after Jules Kounde's cross was poorly dealt with by the visitors' keeper. That allowed Lewandowski to volley it home for his seventh goal of the season.

Hansi Flick's team dominated the game but didn't create too many clear chances, except for the two that ended without the ball in the back of the net. Fortunately for the Catalans, they weren't punished for it.

This narrow victory restored Barcelona's four-point lead over Real Madrid at the summit, with El Clasico coming after the international break in October.
