Norik Avdalyan of Russian second-tier side Nefis Kazan scores a jaw-dropping goal from the spot
There are ways and ways to perform a penalty kick, and some players tend to give it a go in some unorthodox manner.
Probably the most unique and famous is the Czechoslovakian player Antonin Panenka, whose smooth shot against West Germany in the EURO 1976 finals provided the underdogs with their only-ever title.
Happy 72nd birthday to Antonin Panenka.

Since then, this kind of penalty execution has been labelled "Panenka", and we see it quite often around the globe.
However, there's now one guy called Norik Avdalyan, and his way of shooting from the spot is definitely revolutionary compared to anyone else.
¿El armenio Norik Avdalyan está loco, no? El penalti con patada de artes marciales y salto mortal 🤣 pic.twitter.com/SJBGtRPURf

The player of Russian second-division side Nefis Kazan netted from the spot in the most unusual way possible. While the rain was pouring down, Avdalyan ran to the ball, hit it, and then did a jaw-dropping somersault like some martial art master.
