Parc des Princes has got its prince! Khvicha scores his maiden PSG goal to kill Monaco

It didn't work out for them with the world's fines - like Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe - so Paris Saint-Germain opted for a somewhat modest approach. And it seems like this time, it could actually be just what they were looking for all this time.

Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembele are excelling in the roles of new leaders, and now, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's arrival, the Saints have created a new attacking trio that promises so much.

Last night, they battered AS Monaco 4-1 in what should have been a Ligue 1 derby, but turned into as one-sided tie as it gets, with the Georgian winger scoring his maiden PSG goal.

This was Khvicha's fourth match for Les Parisiens, and after an assist in the debut against Reims, he showed the other virtue of his - lethal finishing.

His goal in the second half restored the lead for the hosts, who were in front thanks to Vitinha's free-kick before Zakaria equalized.

Khvicha was soon accompanied by mesmerizing and unstoppable Dembele, who continued his remarkable goal-scoring streak with a brace against Monaco. He is brimming with confidence and is finally delivering displays we've expected to see from him ever since that move to Barcelona ages ago.

PSG's Ligue 1 title is almost secured, and the only dilemma remains if they would manage to grab it without a single loss.
