It was sweet revenge for Gor who had lost the previous meeting 2-1 to their bitter rivals
Gor Mahia wiped the floor with the AFC Leopards skin to scoop the Mashemeji Derby bragging rights.
A brace in the biggest football club fixture in the land is proof that Benson Omala enjoyed his afternoon on the pitch.
He was heavily criticized for missing a penalty when the two giants last met, but he will be glad to have answered them in the perfect way.

Looked shaky especially when collecting aerial balls. Wasn’t tested much in the first half and overall, had little to do in the game.
Will be happy to have kept a cleansheet in first appearance at the big stage.

He also chipped in did the defensive work whenever Gor needed numbers in their area.
