While Okello joins the Law Enforcers on a one-year deal, Toha is set to stay with the recently-proclaimed money bags for two and a half years.
Kenya Police have confirmed the capture of former Gor Mahia striker Tito Okello and his compatriot defender Rashid Toha as they continue to beef up their squad in the hunt for their maiden league title.
While Okello joins the Law Enforcers on a one-year deal, Toha is set to stay with the recently-proclaimed money bags for two and a half years.
The lanky forward, Okello, played for Gor Mahia between 2020 and 2022 after joining from Ugandan side Vipers before moving to Iran after severing ties with K'Ogalo.
On the other hand, the 25-year-old central defender, Toha, joins from another Ugandan outfit Arua Hill but also had a stint with Vipers before joining his immediate former side.
The acquisition of the two adds to the high-profile signing of the duo of Kenyan international Kenneth Muguna and the fleet-footed Tyson Otieno.
The Francis Baraza-coached side will be eyeing their first win of the season when they take on Posta Rangers on Friday at the Police Pavillion Grounds starting at 3 PM.
Despite boasting an experienced star-studded side, they were held to a barren draw by a youthful Kariobangi Sharks side in the opening round last weekend.
