Last season, the Parisians won both league encounters against Marseille, while OM managed to beat them in the Coupe de France.

Top guns in Europe will be in action this weekend as league action in all the top nations once again takes centre stage.

Sassuolo to host Juventus

The Old Lady are out to continue with their impressive start to the new campaign when they take on Sassuolo at MAPEI Stadium on Saturday evening.

Last week, Massimiliano Allegri’s men downed Lazio 3-1 at home in their last league match to extend their unbeaten start to the new season and also move to the second spot after AC Milan suffered a heavy defeat in the Milan derby. Juventus have ten points from four rounds of league matches. They are two points behind high-flying Inter.

Saturday’s hosts, Sassuolo, are 17th in the log with just three points after four rounds of matches. They have won just one of the four games played this campaign. In the last five meetings between the two teams, Juve has won three times, while Sassuolo have two wins to their name.

The match starts at 7 p.m. EAT.

Fireworks in North London

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will be out to extend their strong start to the new season when they face off on Sunday at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium.

Last week, Arsenal ended their Goodison Park winless run with a 1-0 triumph over Everton, while Tottenham Hotspur defeated Sheffield United 2-1 after staging a stoppage-time comeback.

Both teams have managed four wins and a draw this campaign and are two points behind leaders Manchester City, although Spurs have a superior goal difference and are second in the log. Arsenal won both encounters last season. They picked a 3-1 win at the Emirates and a 2-0 win at the Tottenham Stadium.

The match starts at 4 p.m. EAT.

PSG welcome Marseille

PSG will be seeking to bounce back from last weekend’s shocking league defeat to Nice when they play host to unbeaten Olympique Marseille on Sunday.

Last week, the league champion went down 3-2 to Nice, while Marseille drew 0-0 with Toulouse. PSG, in fifth place, trail leaders Monaco by three points, while Marseille are two points adrift and occupy the third position in the log.

Last season, the Parisians won both league encounters against Marseille, while OM managed to beat them in the Coupe de France.

The match starts at 9:45.
