PSG with a 'Made in Portugal' engine makes another smooth drive through Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain are on a serious run in the Ligue 1 and not even in-form Toulouse could stop them from restoring a six-point lead at the top of the table.

With his one eye firmly attached to their upcoming do-or-die Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night, PSG boss Luis Enrique opted for the starting XI he'll probably also line up at Allianz Arena.

And his youngsters did prove to be just what the Spaniard needs, at least when it comes to domestic title race. They swept off Toulouse 3-0 on the wings of the prolific and young Portuguese trio - Joao Neves, Lucas Beraldo and Vitinha.

The former broke the deadlock with a perfect mid-range volley following Achraf Hakimi's cross from the right.

Beraldo doubled the lead after another Hakimi's cross, while Vitinha teamed up with Randal Kolo Muani in the stoppage time to put this Portuguese cherry on top of another Saints' smooth performance.

However, now comes a much tougher challenge, as PSG need a win at Allianz Arena if they want to stay in contention for a place in the UCL knockout stage. It doesn't get much more demanding than that, does it?
