
Qatar name squad to play Harambee Stars in Doha

All the 26 players play their club football in Qatar
Qatar have named their squad that will play Kenya in an international friendly game at the Al Janoub Stadium in Doha on Thursday evening.
Kenya have lined up yet another match against an Asian national after playing Iran in March, and after the match in Doha, they will welcome South Sudan for another friendly match in Nairobi on September 12.
The Maroons head coach, Carlos Queiroz, has named a 26-man squad. The squad is made up purely of players who play in the Qatari League. Four of them are from Al Duhail, and they’ll face a familiar face in Michael Olunga in the friendly.

Goalkeepers: Jasem al-Hail (Al Arabi), Meshaal Barsham, Saad al-Sheeb (Al Sadd), Salah Zakaria (Al Duhail)
Defenders: Ahmed Suhail, Boualam Khoukhi, Musab Khider, Pedro Miguel, Tariq Salman (Al Sadd), Bassam al-Rawi (Al Rayyan), Hazem Ahmed (Al Wakrah), Homam al-Amin (Al Gharafa), Youssef Ayman (Al Duhail).
Midfielders: Abdullah al-Ahrak (Qatar SC), Abdulaziz Hatem (Al Rayyan), Abdullah al-Marafie, Ahmed Fathi (Al Arabi), Ali Asad, Mustafa Meshaal (Al Sadd), Karim Boudiaf (Al Duhail).
Forwards: Ahmed Alaa (Al Gharafa), Akram Afif, Hassan al-Haydos, Mohamed Waad, Yousef Abdelrazaq (Al Sadd), and Almoez Ali (Al Duhail).
Meanwhile, the Harambee Stars have intensified training in Nairobi ahead of the Thursday game. All local-based players reported to camp on Sunday, while a few foreign-based players like Duke Abuya and Masoud Juma also took part in the Sunday evening session at the Moi Kasarani Stadium.
The national team will shift its base to the Two Rivers Mall Grounds on Monday afternoon. Most of the foreign-based players are expected to report for the Monday session. The team leaves for Doha on Wednesday night and jets back on Friday.
