Gor Mahia edged Talanta 2-1 as Tusker FC narrowly edged KCB by a solitary goal in midweek FKFPL matches
Former Kenyan Premier League defending champions Gor Mahia narrowly defeated Talanta FC 2-1 in an entertaining match played at the Kasarani Main Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Talanta's opened the scoring on 18 minutes but a second-half brace by Benson Omalla was all that K'Ogalo needed to secure the three points.
Tusker 1-0 KCB
In Ruaraka, Mike Oduor scored the all-important goal for Tusker against his former employer KCB with 20 minutes left on the clock.
Only two points now seperate Gor Mahia and Tusker who are first and second respectively on the log after 27 rounds of matches.
Bandari 0-3 Police
In Mombasa, homeside Bandari found the going tough as the succumbed to three unanswered goals to Kenya Police FC. Goals by Cliff Miheso, Elvis Rupia and Clinton Kinanga earned the Law Enforcers the maximum points.

At the Ulinzi Sports Complex, homeside Ulinzi Stars picked a 3-1 win over struggling Vihiga Bullets. The win pushes the soldiers to eighth on the log.
