Rashford 'finds refuge' in Ibra's ranks?

AC Milan are reportedly keen on bringing Man United's written-off child

Busy days for Marcus Rashford. Not because of his overwhelming obligations on the pitch but because the ongoing transfer window is his unique opportunity to leave Old Trafford. Ruben Amorim's arrival marked the beginning of the end for the Englishman at his boyhood club, as the Portuguese gaffer had apparently written off the forward for good.

Rashford made the last appearance with the Red Devils on December 12 in the UEFA Europa League against Viktoria Plzen and hasn't played since, missing six consecutive matches. Although his brace against Everton a month ago hinted at his revival, now his spell with United seems to be over.

The latest information claims that Rashford's former teammate and now one of the key members of AC Milan's management, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is willing to "provide refuge" to the 27-year-old. At San Siro, they are keen on using Rashford's situation with United and bringing him, given that the Rossoneri need another attacking weapon apart from Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic.

At the moment, a loan deal is on the table, although the Premier League side would accept it only with a buyout clause included. Manchester giants allegedly demand £40 million for Rashford's transfer, although they could have possibly hoped for a higher fee, but the forward rejected any eventual move to Saudi Arabia.
