The Brazilian will miss around five games both in La Liga and the Champions League
On the surface, everything is great with Real Madrid. They have a perfect record at the start of La Liga with all three wins, six goals scored and only one conceded. But, just one wrong move could get them into trouble. And that’s exactly what happened on Friday, when the Royal club defeated Celta Vigo 1-0. In that game, Vinicius Jr. limped off injured and at first, it seemed like a minor injury and even coach Carlo Ancelotti said that the Brazilian even wanted to continue the game. But today it was revealed that Vinicius suffered hamstring injury, more serious than expected and now, he is facing a lengthy vacation, since it is expected that he will miss important La Liga games against Real Sociedad and city rivals Atletico Madrid. Also, his participation in the opening game of the Champions League group phase is also under question. All in all, he could miss five (or more) games in all competition.

And that could provide a problem for Real Madrid. Already working with only one classic number 9, Joselu, the Royal club will now have to be without their top offensive player for five games. An unusual scorer was Jude Bellingham, who managed four out of Real’s six games so far, but nobody can’t expect that the newly acquired star will continue like that. Since Benzema went to Al-Ittihad (unexpectedly) and the club didn’t buy Kylian Mbappe, Ancelotti was left with only Joselu as the main striker (and everybody knows that he is not the caliber with Real needs) and three forwards: Vinicius, Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz. The experienced coach changed tactics a bit and fielded Vinicius and Rodrygo as strikers but now will have to change the formation again. Is it time to maybe change the strategy towards Kylian Mbappe?
