Torino stunned the Giallorosi at Stadio Olimpico (3-2) and eliminated them from the Coppa Italia already in the Round of 16
Roma's Coppa Italia campaign is over. Even though the Giallorossi's focus has to be on the Serie A, where they are respectable title contenders, hardly anyone expected the Wolfess would end its Cup journey already in the Round of 16 against Torino.
Either way, the visitors were brave in the Italian capital, and it paid off, as they triumphed 3-2, mainly thanks to the former Premier League player, Che Adams, who bagged a brace, putting the Il Toro (The Bull) in front twice, in the 35th and 52nd minutes.
On the other hand, Roma managed to annul both Scotsman's goals over Mario Hermoso and the 16-year-old Antonio Arena, who scored with his first-ever touch with the Wolfess's first team.
Yet, Emirhan Ilkhan's 90th-minute winner spoiled the party for both the home team and its teenage gem.

And while Roma recover from their Cup elimination, their rivals in the title race, Napoli and Inter Milan, will play their games in hand in the Serie A.
After sharing spoils in their thrilling head-to-head derby (2-2) three days ago, they'll have relatively easy (in prospect) home games to get back on winning ways, as the Neapolitans face Parma (20.30) and the Nerazzurri host Lecce (22.45).
