Former CR7 teammate Louis Saha praises the Portuguese forward for his unprecedented determination and skills

Louis Saha, former Manchester United player and 2006 FIFA World Cup runner-up with France, emphasized the importance of Cristiano Ronaldo's current presence with the Red Devils.

The Frenchman, who also played for Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham, spoke about his past at United alongside CR7. The Portuguese attacker is, as per Saha, out of this world.

"Solskjaer has to be very happy with his return because he is an alien. He can play in any team or league in the world, and he will always score goals. He has a dedication and a capacity for a sacrifice that nobody else has. Also, if there is a player with a world influence, that's Cristiano Ronaldo. I don't just talk about football. I also speak on a social level. Many people are aware of what he does. He is a role model and an inspiration, "he said.

"We always get along well. My relationship with him was easy because we were both very hardworking. If you don't like him as a teammate it's because you're not hardworking, as simple as that. It's that simple. Besides, he was a guy who always had a smile for you. He was like a family guy and respectful.

"On the other hand, I sometimes had the feeling that it was impossible to defend him. I would love to play with him again. Even if you're into stoppage time, you feel like he can still score a goal, and if he has to score five in a game, he does. He's a machine!"

Regarding the Ballon d'Or, he acknowledged that he would not be surprised if "Benzema would win it this year", although he also considered that Salah is a very serious candidate.

Saha valued the aptitudes of his French compatriot very positively, not only in the individual aspect but also in the collective. Another player he turned his attention to was Bruno Fernandes, as "I didn't expect him to have such a big impact on United."
