Brighton's Ecuadorian Pervis Estupinan will join AC Milan and try to fill the shoes of the Frenchman, who moved to the Saudi Al Hilal

AC Milan managed to kill two birds with one stone: they found a decent replacement for Theo Hernandez and saved some money from his transfer to Al Hilal.

The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Brighton regarding the move of Pervis Estupinan to San Siro for €17 million with potential €2 million add-ons. Given that Milan earned €25 million from Theo's deal with the Saudi side, the acquisition of the Ecuadorian defender turned out to be a pretty good bargain for them.

Conversely, will earn little from the job since they brought Estupinan from Villarreal three years ago for €17.8 million. Still, the Seagulls recognized that it was about time to sell the 27-year-old and give a chance to Ferdi Kadioglu, whom they bought from Fenerbahce for €30 million.

Estupinan started his career in his homeland at LDU Quito before joining Watford at the age of 18. Still, he didn't get a proper chance in England as he didn't even debut for the Hornets. Instead, they sent him on numerous loans to Granada, Almeria, Mallorca, and Osasuna.

At Brighton, he managed to show his full potential - especially in offense - recording five goals and 14 assists in 104 appearances with the Amex Stadium crew.
