Vincent Kompany’s team continues to steamroll their opponents, this time in the domestic league, where they defeated Union Berlin 4–0
This season, Bayern Munich are one of the biggest favorites—not only in the domestic league, but also in Europe. The Bavarians continue to toy with their opponents, with a solid defense and a lethal attack. It was the same story today, as Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Serge Gnabry were in top form, combining for four goals to comfortably defeat the capital side.

The first real opportunity came in the 9th minute when Michael Olise delivered a dangerous ball into the box, but Harry Kane couldn’t convert. Olise looked sharp from the start, and just a minute later he made another strong run down the right, only to be stopped by a solid Union Berlin defense.
Bayern continued to push, and in the 16th minute Lennart Karl fired their first proper shot on goal, though it went straight into the goalkeeper’s hands. The pressure kept building, and in the 29th minute Bayern came agonizingly close to breaking the deadlock. A brilliant team move involving Kimmich and Stanisic ended with Karl hitting the post, despite being one-on-one with the keeper.

Olise remained a constant threat, testing Frederik Ronnow in the 39th minute with a well-placed shot, but the Union goalkeeper was equal to it. Moments later, Kane had a huge chance of his own—after rounding the keeper, he somehow sent his shot wide of an almost empty net.
However, Bayern finally got their breakthrough in the 43rd minute. Olise, who had been Bayern’s most dangerous player throughout the half, cut inside once again and unleashed an unstoppable strike to make it 1–0.
There was still time for more before the break, and in stoppage time Serge Gnabry doubled Bayern’s lead. After a cross from the right caused problems in the box, Gnabry reacted quickest to finish and give the hosts a comfortable 2–0 advantage heading into halftime.
Just four minutes after the restart, Harry Kane made it 3–0. Receiving the ball around 16 meters from goal and heavily marked, Kane still managed to get his shot away, finding the net with clinical precision. It was his 48th goal in all competitions this season, and his 31st in the Bundesliga—an incredible tally.

Bayern continued to dominate, and in the 53rd minute Olise came close to grabbing his second of the match. Picked out inside the box by Upamecano, Olise met the ball with his head, but it went straight at the Union goalkeeper.
The chances kept coming. In the 57th minute, Karl had another big opportunity to put the game to bed, but like before, his effort was denied by the keeper.
Bayern’s fourth goal arrived in the 67th minute. Olise’s shot from the edge of the area was initially blocked by Danilho Doekhi, but the rebound fell kindly to Gnabry on the left side of the box. After a controlled touch, Gnabry fired a powerful strike into the near corner to make it 4–0.
Union Berlin finally threatened in the 77th minute, when Jeong unleashed a strong shot from the edge of the box, but Bayern’s goalkeeper Jonas Urbig reacted brilliantly to keep a clean sheet intact.
Just a minute later, Bayern were inches away from adding a fifth. After an assist from Kane, Olise attempted a stylish finish, beating Ronnow, but the ball struck the post.
Bayern remained in full control until the final whistle, comfortably seeing out a dominant performance.
