Atalanta - led by the former AC Milan loanee - are on the verge of the twelfth consecutive Serie A win. Next victim - Lazio (5 pm)
Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta has been one of the most lethal European sides since the start of this campaign. The Europa League reigning champions lost the UEFA Super Cup showdown to Real Madrid, but their focus this season has been nothing but Serie A.
And the result is staggering - 11 wins in a row! And they are now after the twelfth, 'dodicesima'.
La Dea has scored 42 goals in the domestic championship so far, which is 16 more than the runners-up, Napoli. Gasperini's attacking sword is in the hands of mesmerizing Charles De Ketelaere, who's been thriving ever since arriving to Atalanta from AC Milan on loan in 2023.
The 23-year-old Belgian struggled at San Siro to showcase his unique set of skills, but Gasperini magically found the solution for CDK and the club made his move permanent before the start of this season. He responded with five goals and five Serie A assists, pushing Atalanta to unprecedented heights.
Is there a more complete forward than Charles De Ketelaere? He would start for any team in the world, a serious future Ballon d’Or winner ⭐️

Today, they face fourth-placed Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in the most exciting Serie A clash in prospect. We could be seeing a true spectacle with quite a lot of goals, especially in the back of Lazio's net.
Inter recently destroyed them by netting six at the same venue. Will history repeat? Maybe...
